Artist Statement

The decisions I make as I work tend to reflect what I am experiencing at the time, or I may just happen to see something that sparks my interest and from there I will have ideas.  I prefer to work with pen and ink, and with the computer, because it produces quick results.  My current work leans toward a child-like surrealism.  By creating these works I want to take people back to a younger more imaginative state, a visual and mental escape if only for a few seconds.
