In spring 1992,
Creative Director Clair Mead Hartmann said that she wished to create something really nice with
iD Magazine's Red Edition,
which featured an interview with artist Lee Harvey. Clair clearly achieved (and exceeded) her goal with
this issue of iD
Magazine. Thank you for everything you created, Clair.
Many Jacksonville
citizens including fellow A City of Expression
members may never see anything like this publication again and the raw
creativity involved with iD. Or
will they? Newspapers
across the country should publish local versions of iD Magazine and
unite the world with the healing effects of the arts.
In the original printed version of
iD's Red Edition, the odd-numbered pages
appeared on the left of center as you held the publication open in your
hands. Even-numbered pages appeared on the right.
Keep this in mind with pages 15 and 16, which were the center spread
Double Truck position and feed off each other. This issue was
printed on 8 1/2" x 14" paper and folded to the perfect size.
