Viewing Tips

TIP #1:  Go to the Radio page by hovering your mouse over the explosion art to the left of the Greater Jacksonville Arts text (in the Navigation Station) until the menu appears.  Place your cursor in the menu and scroll down to Radio and click to view the Radio page.  Once on the page, find a radio station that is of interest to you and click the appropriate Web site link.   You will need to navigate the station's site to get to the "Listen Live" area or something similar.  The Radio page was created mainly for viewers outside of the area that want to listen to local radio and for anyone wanting to enjoy good music while they browse iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville.

TIP #2:  Navigation appears on almost every page, enabling you to easily move about iD Magazine.  There are also additional links to the Home page so you can return to it by clicking on the banner at the top of each page or by clicking the A City of Expression logo at the bottom of each page.  Also, there is a link to the Home page at the bottom of each navigation menu in the Navigation Station.

TIP #3:  Clicking on an artist's image on a main feature page (such as the Gallery1 page or the Photography page) will bring you to the artist's feature.  You will be informed when you need to click on an image when you see:

iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville uses clicking images to navigate you through the site.

TIP #4:  Clicking on artist's images on the artist's individual feature page will, in some cases, allow you to see a larger view of the image, like on the 190 feature on the Cartoons page.  This will help you to determine if you wish to purchase the artwork or simply give you a better view.  You will be informed when you need to click an image for a larger view when you see:

iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville uses clicking images to navigate you through the site.

TIP #5:  Again, we apologize for all of the "To Come" pages.  These pages will be filled with valuable content soon enough, but now you can enjoy a number of active pages. Current ACTIVE PAGES include: A City of Expression , About iD , About Metro Jacksonville , Advertisers , Advertising Rates , Animations , Architecture , Arts Events , Call for Art , Cartoons , Contact Information, Crafts , Disclaimer , Explosion of the Arts , Feedback, Film , Gallery1 , Gallery2 , Gallery3 , Gallery4 , Graphic Design , Internship Information , Miscellaneous Art , Miscellaneous Information About iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville , Mother Millennia Gallery , Music , Partnerships , Photography , Poetry in Motion , Radio , Sculpture, Short Stories , Sponsors , Staff , Theater , Viewing Old Printed SPARK and iD Magazines , and Viewing Tips.  Look on this Viewing Tips page in the future for a site index.

TIP #6:  If you live in an area outside of greater Jacksonville, please ask your newspaper to review the Newspapers page on our mother site www.idmagazine.cc.  Tell them that you want similar online and printed publications in your hometown and ask them to review this site at www.idmagazinejax.com.

TIP #7:  We should introduce you to Miss iD, the spokeswoman of the iD Arts Magazine global arts publication, her daughter site (this site, iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville), and A City of Expression.  Her image is to the right and she will be displayed in many different interpretations to aid you throughout the site, such as Michael Calhoun's cartoon interpretation used on the Home page.  This image was obtained from a photograph of an early 1990's oil painting by longtime Jacksonville artist Clair Mead Hartmann.  Miss iD has her own gallery named Mother Millennia, where different interpretations of her image are created by a growing number of artists.

Check iD out and tune in to some great art and information.
