iD's Production Summary
The 1991-1992 printed iD Magazine arts publications were published by volunteers from the Jacksonville, FL USA arts organization A City of Expression and are pronounced id, using the same pronunciation as the Freudian psyche. These publications can be viewed on the Original Printed iDs page located under the iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville menu within the Navigation Station.
Due to exsisting legal naming rights, iD Magazine was renamed iD Arts Magazine and was reborn online in mid December 2002. iD Arts Magazine has reached out to the newspaper industry and art lovers, requesting that an organized movement by the newspapers be made to create an international network of 3,000+ local arts magazines. This collective effort would promote the healing effects of the arts both locally and globally while changing the world in a positive manner forever with unity and harmony. This effort involving the newspaper industry has been abandoned and now we are attempting to rebuild the A City of Expression organization by creating a Jacksonville chapter that will create and sponsor iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville and numerous Greater Jacksonville arts events. All efforts will be to improve and organize the Greater Jacksonville arts scene, from Brunswick, GA to Gainesville, FL, to give greater strength to local artists and the local arts scene. Please feel free to contact us anytime by using the contact information supplied within the Contact Us menu in the Navigation Station of iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville at www.idmagazinejax.com.
iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville was first published functionally on January 15, 2007 at 11:32 p.m. EST, sharing the birthday of the honorable Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and also one month after the 5th birthday of our powerful spokeswoman (Miss iD) and our mother site, iD Arts Magazine that is available at www.idmagazine.cc (now disabled and abandoned, as it was targeted to a global audience and all focus is now on Jacksonville). More details about iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville are available on the About iD Arts Magazines page on this Web site.
