This is a failed attempt to help
and will remain inactive indefinitely
as a scar to remind what was given.
All greater Jacksonville LGBTA news is posted here at no charge for non-profits and I reserve the right to post.
Advertising rates are priced to help fund local LGBTA non-profits, low rates for greater participation.
Of course, no hateful posts.

News will be posted just as it appears here, nothing special...listings will, however, be dated at the beginning.
Wouldn't you like to see more PFLAG billboards more frequently, more church parties, a better prom for JASMYN?
I would...that's why this board is here.

Welcome to a newsboard of noteworthy LGBTA happenings from Brunswick, Ga to Gainesville, FL!

iD Arts Magazine Jacksonville honors a longtime commitment by opening the Diversity and Lifestyle page to LGBTA news in time of need. All gay news is welcome. Free for non-profits and others at my discretion. Businesses get 3-line listings for $25 and have display ad options…see below. Prices are discounted but priced to pay for a better local LGBTA community. All advertising funds (90% LGBTA, with 10% going to A City of Expression and iD Arts Magazines) earned go to funding pride fest efforts of local LGBTA non-profits.
There is also a bumper sticker/t-shirt fundraiser for LGBTA non-profits. The goal is $1500/mo++ ad sales, $150/mo stickers/shirts. I know this is a very conservative figure and will be much more with support from the community…please help spread the word of this opportunity.
Below are ad prices for display advertisements. Shown is the smallest ad, the half banner that is priced at $50/mo. This is a tremendous deal and all LGBTA businesses should be able to afford AND PARTICIPATE. Double the height and it’s a banner at $100/mo. Your ad price is determined by the height. Four blocks high is $200 per month. Don’t ask for discounts for larger ads; you are already getting a super deal.

I can design ads, but I prefer the fresh blood that other graphic designers can bring to the publication. My price is $35/hour, with general estimation of one full hour of work needed. This is an arts publication and your ad is expected to be of high quality graphics. Nothing raw or rude allowed. I reserve the right to reject graphics. Ad size is always 750 pixels wide by multiples of 60 pixels high, sent in RGB color and at 72 resolution.

the ad below is 3 blocks, below that is promoting I SAW YOU at 2 blocks

6-28-10, Ad 1:
Boot Rack HH...you came for a draft beer...me blond messed up flattop, you wore a white shirt...I didn't make myself known quick enough or my stomach scared you...anyway, hope you come back another day...would be a big plus seeing your brows bent over a pool table...I know, weird, but you seemed to have the family stamp of approval and this is new

Due to poor election results here in northeast Florida, a movement is being formed. This effort will essentially make Jacksonville the new gay capital of the USA. It makes perfect sense; Jacksonville is the belt buckle of the Bible Belt and home of old money conservative Republicans who have been way too comfortable.
What better place for a good political battle, as we know that Jacksonville has been home to battles in the past. This new peaceful battle aims to recruit not only LGBTA Democrats, but the whole damn Democratic party to move here just for some fun in the sun! It will be nice to see some change reach home. Let's all unfasten that big belt and watch the election results map turn from red to blue!
Sorry, you big San Fran sissies, we have flying roaches, so you may want to stay home. Send the men and determined women instead. There are a few real estate people to recommend, so don't hesitate to contact us with San Fransonville in the subject of your email to id2002@comcast.net. Give it up, let go, and come home to San Fransonville!
