About the Artist
I was born in Jacksonville Florida to a military family and lived all around the world including Africa and the Caribbean. Having served in the United States Navy for 25 years myself, this gave me many opportunities to take in life's many simple joys. Returning to Jacksonville after retiring from my naval service, I rekindled a life long passion for photography. I now work as a professional Risk Manager by day and striving photographer and loving grandfather by night.
Artist Statement
I have loved photography since a very young age. Never without my camera, I have always tried to tell a story with my photos. I believe, in any form of art the true goal is to capture and preserve "A moment in time." It is said that "a picture can paint a thousand words." It is my true hope that through my photography that I can write a novel. Thank you for letting me share my moments in time with you.
