Toxic Twilight:
Bathed in toxic twilight
four by
twelve . . . mount to sixty plus . . .
and then a bit further
Bitterst consumption, charismatic illusion
lunar liberation . . . deliverance from the mouth of madness, I found
myself back where I knew all along
Frosted divergence . . .
should I follow the familar treads once more . . . relentless consumption?
pangs, nostalgic and melancholy . . . empathic heartstrings shall manipulate nevermore . . .
For I have come to myself in every regard . . .
I choose to rise higher and higher still to the skies ablaze . . .
ever mindful of that ancient parable . . .
Icarus/Daedalus
I shall pay heed . . .
restraint released, the final leash undone . . .
and so the vagabond voyage begins anew . . .
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."-Frost
