The Veil of Deception

Once the Earth was whole, full of abundant life, prosperity beyond measure, and everywhere there was blissful peace.

Humanity soon followed this paradise, coming afterwards like an innocent child taking its first steps. The Sun rose and set upon their shoulders, while the Stars above guided their waking dreams into everyday reality.

Somehow over the course of time, the Children of the Earth lost their way and their innocence was lost as well.  The children forgot the blessings given unto them and they slipped into shadow, slipping into a veil of complete darkness.

Suddenly, the Earth herself cried out in agony, its rivers ran red with human blood, its oceans turned black from toxic wastes dumped into them, and its grasses withered into dust from neglect.  The Moon encircled the Earth again and again for what seemed like ages upon ages, when one day new life began once again to resurface . . . and life, like a young bean sprout struggled once more to renew itself from these ashes of despair and mayhem.

This sprout continued to forge ever-forward seeking Sunlight through the Veil of Shadow, illuminated only by the hope of a better tomorrow.  Hope fostered more hope and, with that hope, dreams were dreamt by the remaining souls upon the Earth . . . a hope that the Stars would once again smile upon them, allowing them to flower and blossom into the ecstasy of creation.

Wind blows and carries these seeds . . . seeds of dreams yet to be fulfilled; Water flows and its ripples carries these dreams from the valleys to the shorelines of where humanity sprang forth.  Earth stands still, in awe of its own renewal process and yet the Earth travels her own celestial journey while appearing not to be moving at all. Fire burns, and from its fiery fury new life springs from its incinerated ashes; and, once more, the Veil of Deception is removed.

The Children of the Earth are the custodians of the cosmos . . . yet young were they, when much was placed into their hands, great were their blessings, and greater still was their charge over these blessings. The Children of the Earth blossomed into a rich society once more, and blossomed like the young sprout into a tall, vibrant pillar amongst the many mountains, rivers, and streams; the children flowered once more into the fullness of all life . . . yet, in their haste to evolve, they sought riches from and by their Great Mother without showing gratitude.

Once again, the Veil descended upon humanity and its many tribes and nations.  The doors of the Heavens abruptly opened, and the Creator cried out tearfully, and spoke:  "Why have my beloved children forsaken me, why have my children forgotten the lessons learned previously, and why have my children allowed their innovative technology to supercede their humanity?

"Love, Generosity, and Random Acts of Kindness are the makeup of the limbs of my body, which carries my children from the Womb of Void into the Brilliance of Desire.

"My children, I love you more than you can possibly imagine and so with that I extend once more my limbs . . . but this time my limbs shall be in raw form for you to grow in the fullness of time to more fully appreciate all that has been bestowed upon you.  Earth shall now be your body, Water shall be your blood, Air shall be your breath, and Fire will be your spirit.

"May you learn within the fullness of your own time, that what you seek for yourselves within the Earth, your classroom, must first be sought and found within yourselves before you may seek it anyplace else.

"Then my children and only then, when this is accomplished, may the Veil of Deception be lifted and a new life eternal for your souls begun . . . allowing you to once more flower and blossom with the wisdom of the Father Sun, the grace of the Mother Moon, and the Beauty of the very Stars themselves."

The End
